Animals, Gods Gift to Mankind

Animals have been on Earth far long before man was a glimmer in Gods eye and yet, we deem ourselves superior. Man considers himself a thinker and anything short of man is not, so we cannot blame ourselves for our philosophy.

When one thinks they are superior so be it. When one treats others badly for being beneath his own accepted wisdom, is there really a need to treat the lesser without a tiny inkling of dignity?

Far be it for anyone to find reasons why some hunt and kill for thrill for in America we are free to do so. I am talking domesticated animals, pets, are friends.

Why do some people insist on torturing these friends of ours instead of just leaving them be? Pet owners for the most part are kind to their kind hearted friends but some people are not. I don’t understand why these people would even consider a pet of any kind. Pets are not in our possession to be beaten, starved, or murdered. These pets are here for us to act as companion to out needs no mater how small. Pets are unconditional lovers and definite people pleasers. They ask for nothing and offer love in return.

I had a man tell me, “a dog has no feelings so if you run over its feet with a car it wouldn’t even feel it.” I will never understand why some would have these thoughts, maybe learned through the years by others who never knew any better.

Animals, our pets, see us through times of loneliness, sadness, and times of despair. These are our adopted children, a gift from God so let’s treat them with a little respect as many of us do already but expose those who have nothing but animosity towards these kind souls.
